Peele is a design practice. Peele means Cocoon in Farsi and but it contains another meaning.
The metaphor of the cocoon can also be seen as a symbol of hope and renewal.
Just as the caterpillar emerges from its cocoon as a beautiful, winged butterfly, we too can emerge from our periods of transformation with a renewed sense of purpose, energy, and direction. By embracing the process of personal growth and transformation, we can cultivate resilience, adaptability, and a deeper sense of self-awareness, enabling us to navigate the challenges and changes that life inevitably brings.
The process of metamorphosis that occurs inside a cocoon is a fascinating example of nature's capacity for transformation and growth. From a psychological perspective, the cocoon can be seen as a metaphor for the transformative process of rebirth and personal growth.
In the early stages of a butterfly's life, the caterpillar undergoes a period of rapid growth and development, consuming vast amounts of food in order to fuel its transformation. When it reaches a certain stage of development, it spins a cocoon around itself and enters a period of dormancy known as pupation. Inside the cocoon, the caterpillar undergoes a process of metamorphosis, breaking down its old body and restructuring it into a new, fully-formed butterfly.
